With momentum on his side from a recent podium result at the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Pro Tour SpringNationals, Canadian Nathan Dupuis is headed back south this weekend to Indiana. Ready to battle in the X30 Pro Junior ranks of the popular United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS), Dupuis will enter the battle aboard a Speed Lab Racing Engines powered and Speed Concepts Racing prepared Redspeed by OTK.
“I am ready to go,” explained Dupuis. “I have been ready to go since the checkered flag last weekend in Utah. I am learning so much with each event and that can be seen in the results.”
Trending upward as the season continues, Dupuis has come into his own as of late. As one of the youngest drivers in the Junior category, the Canadian made the switch to Speed Concepts Racing in February and began his transformation. Taking advantage of its driver development program, Dupuis began to work his way forward with the help of the SCR efforts.
Entering the weekend ninth in the championship standings, Dupuis is only 21 markers away from the sixth-place competitor, a goal that he is set for this weekend.
Dupuis continued, “A lot of the improvement is courtesy of the guys at Speed Concepts. They always work hard and push me to do better. I need to qualify well and have consistent finishes, and I know we can maintain or move forward in the standings.”
