WISKO RACING LOOKS TO REGAIN PRO 1500 POINT LEAD IN CANADA

With multiple wins this season in the Blue Marble Radical Cup North America program, WISKO Racing is headed north to Toronto, Ontario, Canada looking for more. Leading the Pro 1500 and Overall point standings for most of the season, WISKO Racing enters the Streets of Toronto event in unfamiliar territory, having fallen to second but with heavy motivation to move back forward and control the point battle.

Two drivers will compete on the 1.786-mile, 11-turn, temporary circuit as Richard Durocher and Danny Dyszelski look to master the barrier-lined circuit. Dyszelski, who leads the team into Toronto, is second in both the Pro 1500 and Overall championship point standings after earning several victories throughout the 2023 season. Joined by Richard Durocher, the duo will look to find their way to the front of the field in what will surely be an interesting weekend north of the border.

“It is our first street race, and we are doing it at one of the most difficult tracks on the calendar,” explained Danyel Delgado. “It will be an interesting one for sure as we will take part in one 60-minute practice session before we head straight into qualifying and three races. Danny has some experience on temporary courses in his open-wheel machine so I think this will benefit him, but the goal will be to stay out of trouble and be there at the end.”

Entering the weekend, Dyszelski sits second in the drivers’ championship while Durocher has placed himself in ninth. As a team, WISKO Racing sits second in the Pro 1500 Team Championship points chase with a lot to play for as teams and competitors take the green flag to start the second half of the season this weekend.

WISKO Racing will hit the Streets of Toronto for the first time for one single practice on the morning of Friday, July 14 before qualifying in the afternoon. Two races will follow on Saturday with one final race Sunday morning.
