Round five of the Blue Marble Radical Cup North America series is here and returns to the famed American Formula One track, the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), this weekend. Virginia-based WISKO Racing will complete with their drivers Danny Dyszelski and Jim Booth this weekend, as Danny sits second in the Pro 1500 Championship points chase.
Along with sitting second in the Driver Championship, WISKO Racing also holds down the second position in the Pro 1500 Team Championship and hopes to level up one position in each this weekend. With six races to go, every point will matter.
“Danny has done outstanding this season and has learned a lot along the way,” explains WISKO Racing’s Danyel Delgado. “The WISKO Racing team is fully focused on pushing Danny and the team into the lead in the championship. Our sole goal this weekend is going to be that top step of the podium and gain as many championship points as possible.”
Joining Dyszelski will be Jim Booth as he returns to WISKO Racing for the Austin, Texas-located event. Not focused on the championship but chasing race wins and podium results, Booth will battle in the talent-filled Platinum class this weekend.
WISKO Racing will hit the track in Austin, Texas this Friday for the start of the penultimate round of the Blue Marble Radical Cup North America program. With a total of three wheel-to-wheel races, the end-of-the-season push is on. The full weekend schedule can be found below.
Delgado continues, “Danny is coming off a win in Toronto that gives us some momentum leading into Texas. We are hoping to take full advantage of that and see if we can put the pressure on our competition.”
