WISKO Racing is back and stronger than ever this year, revealing a six-driver lineup for the Radical Cup North America 2024 season opener at the Sebring International Raceway. Leveling up to five drivers in the Platinum class and one driver in the Pro 1500 ranks, WISKO Racing will be the largest team in the paddock and a shoo-in on the podium with many former Radical Cup victors and podium winners joining their program.

“We welcome not only new drivers to the team, but newly defined crew roles within our program as well,” explained Team Owner Danyel Torres Delgado. “We are excited to welcome our new Resident Engineer and Driver Coach Tom Gladdis along with the newly appointed Managing Director to WISKO Racing, Mike Eyler, or “Mikey” as most may know him, who will be the ‘Go-To’ guy at the racetrack managing the WISKO Racing race team and will work hand-in-hand with Gladdis to best optimize all our combined strengths.”

Returning to the team this year will be veterans David Alban in the #349 SR10 XXR and Jim Booth in his #63 McDonald’s branded SR10, competing against each other in the Platinum class. Along with his involvement and long tenure in WISKO Racing, Booth along with his McDonald’s has stepped up to be the Radical Cup North America presenting sponsor. Three new recruits in the Platinum ranks this year include perennial front-runner Scott Wagner, and 2023 race winners Gregg Gorski, and Louis Schriber, names that might be new to WISKO Racing but surely aren’t new to the Radical Cup North America paddock.

In the #24 car will be Gregg Gorski who is leveling up to the Platinum class this year after several podium appearances and wins and claiming third in the Pro 1500 championship in 2023. Gorski will also be arriving in the same SR10 XXR machine that earned him a podium result at the 2023 Radical World Finals in the Platinum class. Louis Schriber, driver of the #111 and last year’s Platinum class Vice Champion, will be a heavy hitter in his SR10 XXR for the team alongside the #8 of Scott Wagner, who rallied to sixth in the Platinum class standings in 2023.

The team’s sole Pro 1500 entry, the #35 of Evan Slater, is looking forward to making his Radical Cup North America debut coming from an impressive SCCA and Trans Am background. The 2021 New England Region SRF3 Champion and Trans Am veteran brings a load of on-track experience to the WISKO Racing program and will be a valuable addition to the potent program.

“We’re determined to win this year,” explains new Managing Director Mike Eyler. “We’ve got the lineup to prove it. We’re returning with two strong drivers in Jim and David, but we’ve also expanded our tent to three newcomers, ones who are proven they’ve got what it takes and know how to get results. We also saw tremendous potential in Evan and can’t wait to get up to speed with him in the Pro 1500 class.”

The weekend will start off with two practice sessions on Thursday and an additional two sessions scheduled for Friday. Qualifying takes place Saturday morning, followed by races one and two. The weekend will close out with race three Sunday morning.
