USPKS ON THE DOCKET FOR TEAM CROSSLINK THIS WEEKEND

With only a handful of races on the national karting calendar remaining, Team Crosslink’s goal is to win them all beginning this weekend at the United States Pro Kart Series finale. Taking place at the GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina, the Texas based program will see six drivers in the fight to end one of the country’s largest karting series on a high.

“We have a slight break in our car program, so it is back to the kart track,” explained Team Manager Sean Owens. “We are bringing seven drivers who will compete in three different classes, and I know we have a chance to win in them all. The USPKS series is one of the best in the United States and has a ton of tough competition but to be the best, you need to beat the best.”

A single driver will enter the X30 Masters category, and he has a shot at the top step of the podium. Miguel Mier is no stranger to winning and could be the favorite in the class, but he will be pushed hard by the rest of the X30 Masters grid. A winner in 2021, Mier will look to add to the Team Crosslink results resume.

A quartet of pilots for Team Crosslink will come from the KA100 Junior ranks as Aden Rudolph will lead Brayden Robertson, Justin Music and Davis Cunningham into North Carolina. Rudolph has the most decorated resume of the four, showing solid pace at GoPro already this season and should be a threat for victory once wheel-to-wheel racing commences. With four drivers in KA100 Junior, only one will enter the KA100 Senior class as Reilly Cann will aim to finish his 2021 USPKS campaign strong.

With drivers hitting the track Thursday, official practice will take place throughout the day on Friday with the final two rounds of the 2021 United States Pro Kart Series running Saturday and Sunday.
