Following a remarkable debut with a pole position and a win, Tyler Maxson is set to continue his impressive run in the IMSA-sanctioned Ford Mustang Challenge this weekend at the Watkins Glen International Raceway. Representing the Robert Noaker Racing program, Maxson is poised to capitalize on his early success and further elevate his standing in the competition.

“Our season started on a high note, but we’re not satisfied yet,” Maxson shared. “As a united front, we dominated the weekend with a pole position and two wins, one by me and one by Robert (Noaker). We’re eager to replicate that success this weekend, and we’re prepared to push our limits to achieve our goals.”

Courtesy of his results, Maxson enters the second weekend of the series sitting second in the championship standings, 60 points behind his teammate Noaker. With only two races of ten in the books, it is still a wide-open run to the championship that will conclude at the end of the year at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Maxson added, “We have a long season still to go and race at some tracks that I have had success at in the past. While it is easy to look ahead, for me the goal is this weekend and putting myself and the team both at the top of the podium.”

With a pair of practice sessions on the docket for this weekend, qualifying and the first wheel-to-wheel action will take place on Saturday, with race two on Sunday.
