The post-Nashville win has Tyler Gonzalez ready to take on a weekend at one of the fastest permanent road racing circuits in the world, Road America. Gonzalez will be competing in the Toyota GR Cup from August 18-20 as he attacks the 4.049-mile, 14-turn, Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin facility.

After a win on the Streets of Nashville, Gonzalez continues his championship lead in the Toyota GR Cup series. For Gonzalez, the championship battle is not over going into the season’s final three races as competitors will be pushing hard to keep him honest as the series winds down.

“I know that the season is almost over but that will not change my mindset,” explained Gonzalez, who has numerous wins in 2023. “Everything is on the table during these last three event weekends, and I want to make sure that I finish the season strong, and with a championship.”

Located in The Dairy State, Road America is one of North America’s most picturesque venues.

“I know this track well and feel ready for another race weekend on such a fast circuit,” Gonzalez continued. “It has been a very successful year in the Toyota GR Cup and as a new series it feels great to continue the championship battle.”

This weekend marks the beginning of the end of the 2023 season. With only three event weekends left leading up to the final at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway at the beginning of October, Tyler Gonzalez heads into this weekend the championship leader securing 151 points and on the strength of four victories to date. Looking to add more points and additional wins to his already growing roster, Gonzalez is ready for the speed battle that is Road America.

You can expect to see Tyler Gonzalez continuing to put his best foot forward when it comes to finishing this year off strong and battling to secure the championship in the Toyota GR Cup for 2023.
