Entering the 2019 Road to Indy with Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship as a driver partner, Ohio based Turtle Plastics is returning for the 2020 season with HMD Motorsports. Signing a partnership agreement with RTD Media and Management, Turtle Plastics is set to be a HMD Motorsports partner throughout the 2020 season and will look to take advantage of business to business programs put forth by the growing Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires program in conjunction with advice and support from RTD Media.
“We welcome Turtle Plastics to HMD Motorsports,” explained Henry Malukas. “We look forward to working with them in several different programs including their charity work with the National Fallen Fire Fighters Foundation, promoting their business and products as well as opening up new avenues of opportunities for them within the Road to Indy.”
Entering the 2019 Road to Indy as a partner with Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship driver Tim Pagliuso, the team will level up in 2020 to the Indy Lights program.
“Tim has played a major role in serving as our safety products spokesman and creating business opportunities in the motor sport racing industry,” explained Turtle Plastics President Liz Demetriou. “He has been able to bring us into a world that we knew little about. Connecting us with RTD Media and Management’s Mike Maurini last year, as well as with HMD Motorsports, several plans were put forth including a flourishing partnerships for hopefully many seasons as well as the continuation of our ‘Laps for Legacy’ program that raises funds for the National Fallen Fire Fighters Foundation, an organization that is near and dear to our hearts. We are so pleased Tim will continue to act as our liaison in the motor sport industry and promote our safety products globally as a brand ambassador for 2020.”
2020 is set to be an exciting season for HMD Motorsports with a multi-car Indy Lights effort. Topping the most recent and final Series Test of the 2019 season, the Indiana based operation looks to carry that momentum into 2020 with Turtle Plastics by their side.
