TOPP Racing has announced the addition of father and son duo Chad Knight and Cody Knight to its 2026 Porsche Sprint Challenge North America lineup, marking an exciting new chapter for the team as the Knights prepare to take on their sophomore season in the series.
The Knights will compete across two classes within the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport platform. Chad Knight will enter the Cayman Masters class, piloting the #32 entry, while his son Cody Knight will race in the competitive Cayman Pro/Am class behind the wheel of the #3 machine.
The 2026 season marks the second year of competition for both drivers in Porsche Sprint Challenge North America. Despite not contesting the full schedule in 2025, Cody Knight impressed in his rookie campaign, finishing seventh overall in the championship standings. Chad Knight also gained valuable experience through a few rounds of the season, finishing 20th in his class while continuing to build pace and familiarity with the championship.
“I’m really looking forward to another year of racing with my son and doing it with a team like TOPP Racing,” said Chad Knight. “Last season was about learning the ropes and enjoying the experience together. This year, we’re coming in more prepared, more focused, and ready to keep improving every time we hit the track.”
For Cody Knight, the opportunity to continue developing alongside his father adds another meaningful layer to the program.
“Racing with my dad has been an incredible experience, and having a full offseason to prepare makes me even more excited for 2026,” said Cody Knight. “We learned a lot last year, and I’m motivated to take a big step forward in Pro/Am. Joining TOPP Racing feels like the perfect move to help us do that.”

With their sights set on growth and consistency, the Knights will officially kick off their 2026 campaign at Sebring International Raceway from March 6-8. As the season begins, TOPP Racing and the Knight duo will look to make their mark and prove that this partnership is ready to charge forward one race at a time.
