After securing a double podium at Watkins Glen, TOPP Racing is ready to carry that momentum into Round Five of the 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup North America at Road America, set for July 31-August 3.
Leading the charge for TOPP Racing are drivers Ryan Yardley and Tyler Maxson. Together, the pair earned three podium finishes across the two races at Watkins Glen last month. Yardley’s consistent pace in the #78 car has kept him in the fight for the championship, while Maxson’s confidence in the #77 car keeps him firmly in the hunt for more hardware this weekend and the Rookie of the Year title. Both drivers are set to take on Road America, the iconic four-mile, 14-turn circuit in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, known for its 4.014-mile length.
“The summer break gave us time to further prepare for Road America,” explained TOPP Racing Team Owner Todd Oppermann. “We’ve built on the momentum from Watkins Glen and fully intend to keep fighting at the front through the rest of the season.”
The action at Road America kicks off on Thursday with the first practice session, followed by Practice 2 and Qualifying on Friday. Race 1 will go green on Saturday at 11:55 AM ET, while Race 2 wraps up the Porsche Carrera Cup North America weekend on Sunday morning at 11:35 AM ET, just before the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship takes to the track for the main event of the weekend.
