TOPP Racing delivered a strong weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS), securing a Porsche Carrera Cup North America win and a Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America weekend sweep as both programs took on their respective doubleheader rounds at the historic Indianapolis circuit.
The 2.439-mile, 14-turn road course provided a demanding test across four races. In the Porsche Carrera Cup North America Pro class, Tyler Maxson piloted the #77 Porsche 911 Cup to a commanding victory in Race One. Maxson led every lap from the green flag to the checkered flag, securing the win at a circuit that has historically presented a challenge for both the driver and team.
The result was a product of consistent work throughout the weekend, with TOPP Racing finding the pace needed to put Maxson at the front and keep him there. Teammate Cole Kleck, behind the wheel of the #78 Porsche 911 Cup, brought home a seventh-place finish in Race One.
Race Two brought a close fight for Maxson, who remained engaged in a battle throughout the 40-minute contest. Despite the tight competition, Maxson fought through to a fifth-place finish, adding valuable championship points to his weekend total. Kleck followed with an eighth-place finish to close out the Porsche Carrera Cup doubleheader.
In Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America, Rocky T Bolduc turned in a perfect weekend for TOPP Racing. Competing as the team’s sole driver in the #99 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2, Bolduc established himself at the front of the LB Cup field in both races. Strong starts allowed him to immediately create separation from the competition, and he maintained his advantage through both races to claim two LB Cup victories and sweep the Indianapolis weekend.
“It was a hard-fought weekend in Indianapolis, and we’re very proud of what this team accomplished,” commented TOPP Racing Owner Todd Oppermann. “We came into the weekend knowing this has not historically been our strongest track, so the team worked hard to maximize every part of the package and find the speed we needed. Tyler and Cole both pushed the Porsche Carrera Cup cars to the limit, with Tyler doing an excellent job to bring home the Race One win and continue the championship fight. Rocky also delivered an impressive weekend, sweeping both races and giving the team another strong result to build on.”
TOPP Racing now turns its attention to the next rounds of its 2026 campaign. The Porsche Carrera Cup North America program heads to Road Atlanta for Round Seven, September 30–October 2, where Maxson and Kleck will continue the championship fight in the penultimate event of the season. The Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America program will prepare for the World Finals in Barcelona, October 19–23, following Bolduc’s perfect weekend in Indianapolis.
