After his departure from the Ocala Gran Prix race team last week, Dylan Gennaro is pleased to announce that he has joined the Indianapolis, Indiana based Top Kart USA program. Set to compete at the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Winter Series, SKUSA Pro Tour and World Karting Association (WKA) Manufacturers Cup program for the remainder of the year, Dylan and Top Kart USA are both very excited to get started.
“Having seen Dylan’s performance at several race events through the past couple years he has been a strong driver at the national level with a great resume,” explained Top Kart USA’s Blake Deister. “While Top Kart USA is continuing the development of our chassis to keep it on top at the national level, we feel that Dylan is a great addition to our current lineup and will be a huge part of the developmental process.”
“I am excited to join Top Kart USA,” commented Gennaro. “They have been a fixture at the front of the field in national level competition throughout the year and racing with them, rather than against them, is going to be nice. I am looking forward to joining the team next month at the SKUSA Winter Series as well as for the remainder of the 2018 season.”
Traveling to the AMR Homestead-Miami Motorplex last weekend to take in the action, Gennaro and his family met with multiple teams to discuss potential plans. Watching the competition on track, Dylan was disappointed not to be out there with his fellow competitors.
Gennaro added, “It was definitely disappointing having to miss an event but that is part of the deal. I would like to thank Jorge Arellano and all the people at Ocala Gran Prix for some great seasons. It is now a new chapter in my racing program and with a new chapter comes new people. A big thanks to the McLaughlin family and Top Kart USA for believing in my talents and providing me with the opportunity to race with them. Roll Blue!”
