TJ SPEED MOTORSPORTS RETURNS TO NOLA MOTORSPORTS PARK WITH FAMILIAR LINEUP

The USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire gears up for its second event of the season at NOLA Motorsports Park. The 2.74-mile-long track features 13 challenging turns in the swamplands just outside of downtown New Orleans. TJ Speed Motorsports, who scored a podium spot in the first race of the season with driver Liam Sceats, plans to repeat the success this weekend in New Orleans with the same familiar lineup of Sceats, Hunter Yeany, and David Morales.

On top of his third-place finish on the Streets of St. Petersburg, Liam Sceats took home a top-ten result in race two. Hunter Yeany also claimed a top-ten finish in race one, just four places behind Sceats. Morales hopes to make a comeback this weekend after a crash in race one on the Streets of St. Petersburg ended his weekend prematurely. With it only being the second event of the season, TJ Speed drivers are eager to see where the season takes them.

“We had a good start to the season in St. Pete,” explains Team Owner and Manager Tim Neff. “But we’re wanting more going into round two. The first race nerves are behind the drivers and this weekend will start to shape up the championship standings. I’m confident we have the lineup to be one-two-three on the podium, and we’re going to do our best as a team to make that happen this weekend.”

The race weekend schedule will see nine different track appearances over three days. Morales, Yeany, and Sceats will see action Friday morning for three test sessions followed by a single practice session that afternoon. Saturday will feature back-to-back qualifying sessions followed by the first race of the weekend at 4:25pm. The race weekend will conclude after race two at 10:00am and race three at 2:15pm.
