Dubbed the Road to the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals, the first annual SuperNats Shootout at Speedsportz Racing Park is now set for the weekend of October 2nd – 4th. Featuring a total purse of nearly $30,000, a cool $20,000 cash in total will be split and handed to all three podium finishers in each class as well as a free entry to the 2020 SKUSA SuperNationals. Additionally, each race winner will also receive a guaranteed starting spot on Super Sunday in Las Vegas.

“I have had the idea to host a major event like this for quite some time but wanted to make sure that all the right pieces were in place,” explained veteran kart racer and Speedsportz President Alan Rudolph. “A huge thank you to Ferguson Truck Center for their support in making this happen as well as to Tom Kutscher and the staff at SKUSA.”

Taking place during the October 2nd – 4th weekend, the all-IAME Engines run event will feature a full slate of Superkarts! USA classes.

Event Details:

  • October 2nd – 4th, 2020 at Speedsportz Racing Park.
  • Cash purse of $20,000 as all categories will pay money to the top-three on the podium- minimum entry required for full payout.
  • Winners in each class receive free entry to the 2020 SKUSA SuperNationals.
  • Winners in each class are guaranteed a starting spot on Super Sunday.
  • Total purse and prizes nearing $30,000.
  • Registration – $350 includes Friday practice. Visit SpeedsportzRacingPark.com.

Rudolph continued, “I have personally called most of the big teams from coast-to-coast and they are all planning to attend. My hope is this looks like a Pro Tour weekend with a star-studded lineup of all the best drivers in the country.”

“If there was ever a track that could prepare you for the SuperNats, it’s Speedsportz,” added one of the best shifter kart pilots and confirmed participant of the event Jake French. “The combination of high speed and low speed corners combined with how physically demanding the track is would be the best pre-SuperNats training.”

Ferguson Truck Center, a commercial truck repair facility based in Houston, has stepped up to the plate to be the presenting sponsor of the first annual SuperNats Shootout.

“I am avid karter and really enjoy seeing what Alan has built in a facility and the programs he has established,” added Scott Ferguson. “When I got wind of the event, I immediately threw my hat in the mix as I wanted to be a part of it. Supporting Alan and the Speedsportz Racing Park through a sponsorship program is the least I could do, and I have the October 2nd to 4th weekend circled on my calendar.”
