With the goal to build his program to be the best in the Colorado region, veteran driver Christian Bird has a renewed focus on his race program this upcoming season. Christian Bird Motorsport (CBM) will kick off their annual campaign at the Challenge of the Americas in one month’s time, as the Colorado race outfit is set for a full slate of competition throughout the country providing a complete race program from chassis and product sales to professional race team and everything in between.

“I really want to focus on my Christian Bird Motorsport efforts in 2019 and build a solid program for the kart racers of today,” explained Bird. “I think there is a void to fill in the Colorado market for the kind of program that I am trying to build, and I am excited to push forward with not only that, but also return to the seat in a more competitive manner when time permits.”

With over fifteen years of experience in the karting world, Christian Bird has been involved in the sport as a business owner, entrepreneur, driver coach, mechanic as well as a racer himself. As an instructor at the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving, Bird has been able to train some of today’s most promising drivers in a variety of different platforms.

Kicking off at the popular winter karting program on the West Coast, Christian Bird Motorsport will enter the Challenge of the Americas (COTA) with multiple drivers.

Bird continued, “We have several opportunities for arrive and drive programs in all classes, tent and transport, driver coaching, engine rentals and data and video analysis within CBR. We are offering affordable programs, including product, tires and chassis sales as our smaller but professional operation, will be a one stop shop for everything needed to win, including a positive environment.”

“I have had the opportunity to drive a few different vehicles in my lifetime and am lucky to be able to do what I do,” added Bird, who is actively pursuing seat time himself. “Between karting, legend cars, late model dirt racing and what I have been fortunate enough to drive in my job, I feel as if I bring a lot to the table for the young drivers of Christian Bird Motorsport and can’t wait to get started in 2019.”

Following the efforts at the Challenge of the Americas, Christian Bird Motorsport will also take on the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Pro Tour, ROK Cup Colorado, Colorado Karting Tour, ROK the RIO and the SKUSA SuperNationals. Above and beyond their official race schedule, CBR will also offer multiple test programs and one-on-one driver coaching anywhere in the country.
