Team Koene USA gears up for their trip to the West Coast for the SuperKarts! USA (SKUSA) SpringNationals, May 5-7, at Simraceway Performance Karting Center in Sonoma, California. With a solid seven driver line-up, the team is ready to continue adding to its already stacked 2017 resume in some of the most competitive racing of the year.

Four drivers will fly the Koene USA flag in the competitive X30 Junior category: Jeremy Fairbairn, Alejandro Jaramillo, Zoey Edenholm and Thomas Simard. Fairbairn comes into the event with a seventh place finish from New Orleans under his belt and will be looking to improve in Wine Country. Jaramillo earned a top-15 and a top-20 finish in the stacked Junior field at the last round of the series, and will be pushing to improve those finishes this round.

Arizonian Zoey Edenholm recently earned a second place podium finish at the Streets of Willow, round two of the SKUSA California ProKart Challenge. The young female comes into the event with hopes she can achieve similar results in Sonoma. Thomas Simard will also enter the X30 Junior field and will be running his first career Pro Tour event in Sonoma after completing the Florida Winter Tour with Team Koene USA. He spent his time over the winter competing in the Rotax Junior category, making huge improvements in his driving every round of the series and hopes his hard work will pay off with strong results.

Nathan Ratton and Kaz Sinnott will throw their hats into the mix in X30 Senior. Neither driver had the results they were striving for at the inaugural WinterNationals round of the series and will be working hard to post strong results this round. Ratton has been training both on and off the track since the March event in NOLA while Sinnott will join Team Koene USA for the first time in Sonoma.

Canadian driver and newly crowned Florida Winter Tour Champion Dale Curran will hit the track in IAME Mini Swift as he currently sits near the front of the overall point standings. Curran had a great run in New Orleans, earning two top-ten finishes at the event. He’ll be working hard for another strong result in Napa Valley.
