Set to embark on their 2020 campaign, TB Kart USA will travel to Pompano Beach, Florida this weekend for the opening round of the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour. Bringing a handful of hungry competitors, the multi-dimensional chassis brand will see action in ROK and Briggs 206 classes as they look to start their 2020 ROK season off on the right foot.
“We have nearly ten competitors aboard TB Kart chassis and will also provide tent and transport services for a few others,” explained Farshad Bagheri. “We are making a big push in 2020 and have done so right away with the signing of our new lead driver Austin Garrison. I am expecting big things out of him this season, and we will be doing what it takes to top the podium in round one.”
While Garrison will see action in the ROK Shifter Senior category, he will be joined by fellow TB Kart driver Zachary Hollingshead in the premiere ROK division. Providing a powerful one-two punch for the program, look for Garrison and Hollingshead at the front of the field.
The largest quantity of TB Kart USA branded drivers can be found in the ROK Shifter Masters class as TB Kart USA Owner Farshad Bagheri will be joined by Rene Martinelli and Pete Licciardi. Martinelli brings a long list of results to the squad while Bagheri is a consistent front-runner throughout the Sunshine State. The trio of Masters drivers will work together throughout the weekend and do their part to help the team in the best way possible.
Veteran Florida racer Collin Warren will throw his hat in the mix in the ROK Senior class as he aims to start his 2020 campaign with a win. Warren, who is a multi-time Florida State Champion, is always fast on the permanent facilities throughout the state, and will aim towards the front of the field on the temporary circuit at the Isle Casino.
Briggs 206 will see the likes of 2019 Championship winning driver Jorge Ruiz as well as Jed Perkins behind the wheel of the potent TB Kart 4-Cycle machine.
Bagheri added, “We are trying to help grow the sport and make it affordable for drivers from around the country to compete in Florida. We will be hosting three additional drivers from the Mike Doty Racing program and providing them tent space and trackside services. Even though they are not on the TB Kart line of products, we want to race against the best, with the most competitive field as possible, and this is us doing our part for the sport.”
If you are attending the event and would like to check out the TB Kart line of products, stop by the TB Kart USA tent to inquire about their race chassis, team and rental karts.
