Heading south to compete in the World Karting Association (WKA) Manufacturers Cup program at the famed Daytona International Speedway, Supertune will use the popular holiday event to test and ready themselves for January competition. Utilizing the popular OTK Tony Kart chassis, Supertune will enter only a pair of drivers over the December 28-30 event as they complete their preparation for both the ROK Cup Promotions Florida Winter Tour (FWT) and the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Winter Series.

“I have been in Florida a lot the past couple weeks competing in local competition in both Ocala and Homestead,” explained Supertune’s Ben Cruttenden. “We have learned even more about the new Tony Kart Mini chassis and are very confident heading into a busy three months of competition. The WKA event in Daytona will be our final event before we head deep into Florida for events in Homestead and Miami. We are excited to see what 2019 has in store for our team.”

With a full program for the Vortex ROK program of the Florida Winter Tour, Cruttenden has capped his team at six drivers to provide the best possible customer support all while aiming for the top step of the podium. Three opportunities for tent and transport or arrive and drive programs are still available for the SKUSA Winter Series and Supertune is willing and able to work with competitors for both full series program or single race deals.

Cruttenden continued, “We have had an overwhelming response to the FWT after the display that our team, drivers and brand put on in Las Vegas at two events in November. Consistently at the front of the field and standing on the podium, we proved that though we are a new program, we can compete and win against some of the biggest and best teams in North American karting. We are set with our driver lineup the ROK side of the program but will add up to three more drivers in IAME powered classes should the opportunity present itself and if drivers will be a good fit for the team.”

As Supertune enters 2019, the Indianapolis, Indiana based race team also has several team chassis available for purchase. From new OTK products to gently used equipment, Supertune is offering great prices on chassis, wheels, components and more.
