Departing from their home base in Indianapolis, Indiana and heading south to the GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina, Supertune will enter three strong drivers at the IAME United States Grand Nationals. Piloting Tony Kart chassis, Supertune will see a pair of drivers in Mini Swift including a Tony Kart factory driver as another American driver makes his return to North American karting.

“We are welcoming a new driver to our program and welcoming one back,” explained Ben Cruttenden. “While we only have three drivers competing this weekend, I feel that anyone could stand on top of the podium in their respective classes and all of them should fight for a spot on the podium.”

A familiar name will return to karting for this weekend as Kai Sorensen rejoins Supertune, a team that he has had much success within the past. As a multi-time, race winning and championship winning duo, Sorensen is hoping that his return to the Supertune team will bring success.

A pair of Mini Swift drivers will see action in North Carolina as race winner Diego Ardiles will look to add another win to his resume. Joining Ardiles will be Tony Kart factory driver and South African Ethan Lennon. A frontrunner in European karting, Lennon will look to take the North American karting community by storm as he looks towards several additional events in the United States later this year.

Cruttenden continued, “A new event is one that you always want to win. We have had success at the GoPro Motorplex in the past, and we look forward to this weekend.”
