Making the move to the junior ranks, national-level racing, and the potent Speed Concepts Racing program, Canadian Nathan Dupuis has been on a constant upward trend in both experience and results. Standing on the podium and winning races in 2023, Dupuis put all his knowledge and experience to the test at the annual ROK Cup USA ROK Vegas event this past weekend earning a pair of strong results in the ROK VLR Junior and ROK Junior classes.

“Great weekend in Vegas as the 2023 season begins to wind down,” explained Dupuis. “I could not have done it without my family and the help of Speed Concepts Racing. Ready to go for SuperNats 25 in a few weeks’ time.”

Competing in the nearly 50-kart-strong ROK VLR Junior class, Dupuis crossed the line in the ninth position, earning his first career ROK Vegas top-ten result. Progressing through the three heat races to start the main event from the inside of row four, Dupuis fell outside the top-ten early on before battling back to finish ninth, the highest Canadian driver in the class.

Shifting his focus to ROK Junior main event on Sunday afternoon, Dupuis lined up 24th on the grid after a string of difficult heat races. Working hard to move his way forward, it was a 12-position gain for the Speed Concepts Racing and Speed Lab Racing Engines driver as he nearly broke into the top-ten by the time the checkered flag flew. Claiming a 12th-place result when the checkered flag flew, the ROK Cup season officially came to a close for Nathan Dupuis.

Dupuis added, “We have one more major event this season but looking forward to the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour in January. I think I made huge progress in 2023 and hope that I can put all the new experience to good use in 2024.”

Next up for Nathan Dupuis will be a return trip to Las Vegas and the annual Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals November 8-12.
