SPEED CONCEPTS RACING TO CLOSE USPKS PROGRAM THIS WEEKEND

Having success at the GoPro Motorplex in the past, Speed Concepts Racing will make the trek north to Mooresville, North Carolina for this weekend’s United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS) finale. With drivers in the hunt for national championships, the Redspeed by OTK program will enter eight SpeedLab Racing Engines powered drivers across four IAME branded classes as they look to close the championship with victories.

“It is always tough competing at the USPKS program as the competition is stout, but I think our driver lineup has the talent and experience to stand on the podium,” expressed Mike Speed. “We have several goals over the weekend that include race wins, podium results and a championship as well as the betterment of all the Speed Concepts Racing drivers.”

Three drivers will enter the X30 Pro Junior category as Ayden Ingratta currently sits atop the point standings and will look to close out the season with a pair of wins. With a slight point lead, Ingratta will have to keep the rest of the competitors at bay as he looks to add to the Speed Concepts Racing performance resume. Joining him in the junior category will be the likes of G3 Argyros, who is a recent race winner in the state of California, and SCR newcomer Alex Mercado.

Jack Jeffers will be absent from the junior driver lineup as he makes the jump this weekend to X30 Pro to finish the 2021 season. A consistent front-runner in the junior ranks, Jeffers will battle with some of the nation’s best drivers in the top level of non-gearbox racing in the country. Joining Jeffers in the Pro category will be Santiago Benito.

A second Benito will see action in North Carolina as Felipe Benito will enter the Mini Swift ranks alongside Sebastian Santana as Scott Roberts looks to climb to the top step of the podium in X30 Masters.

Speed continued, “We are working on an additional driver which could be a surprise once we get to Mooresville. Stay tuned…”

Speed Concepts Racing has the opportunity to add a few more drivers in 2021, especially as the program heads into the ROK Cup USA ROK Vegas and Superkarts! USA SuperNationals. Please contact Mike Speed at Mike@Speed-Concepts.com.
