In preparation to close 2020 strong and built momentum for the 2021 season, Speed Concepts Racing will travel to Speedsportz Racing Park in Houston, Texas this weekend to take part in the first annual SuperNats Shootout. With four drivers making the trek west, three drivers will pilot Redspeed karts in X30 Junior while Luke Lange will see action in X30 Senior.
“With so many events being delayed or canceled earlier in the year, it is great to have an event that was built from the ground up during these tough times,” explained Mike Speed. “We look forward to visiting Texas and supporting Alan Rudolph in his new event that we hope is on the calendar for years to come.”
As one of the dominant teams in the junior ranks throughout the season, Speed Concepts Racing will bring the same three drivers who have found success in 2020. Paul Bocuse, Jack Jeffers and Jace Park have been top drivers in national level programs throughout the season and will look to try and sweep the podium this coming weekend.
In the X30 Senior division, Luke Lange will be the driver to beat as the aim is to put Speed Concepts Racing on top. Competing in several different national level programs across the country, Lange will be a major threat in Texas.
Speed added, “While 2020 is not over yet, 2021 starts for us now. This will be a perfect opportunity to show our strengths and work on our weaknesses all while trying to obtain a handful of prizes and awards for our drivers.”
