It’s the first of three weekends in a row for Speed Concepts Racing / Redspeed as the elite level program descends on the Ocala Gran Prix (OGP) facility in Ocala, Florida for the opening round of the 2021 United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS). Entering six drivers, two of whom won at OGP in February, the OTK branded program is ready to continue their momentum throughout March and close the first quarter of the race season on a high.

Fresh off of his first ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour win, Canadian Ayden Ingratta will be looking for more this weekend in Ocala. Claiming the victory at the OGP facility less than three weeks ago, Ingratta will enter his name in X30 Pro Junior as he looks to keep his winning streak alive. Fellow Florida Winter Tour victor and X30 Masters competitor Scott Roberts will look to repeat his winning ways to kick off three races in a row in March. Dominating the main event in Ocala in February, Roberts will return to the facility aiming for the top step of the podium in the Masters class all while prepping for the Florida Winter Tour final round the following weekend.

Joining Ingratta and Roberts in the SCR stable will be a pair of X30 Senior drivers as Mathias Ramirez and Kyffin Simpson will enter the premier class of the series. Ramirez has been a consistent frontrunner in 2021 to date scoring podium results in both shifter kart and X30 competition but is still looking for that elusive first win since joining Speed Concepts Racing. Kyffin Simpson will make his return to karting to keep sharp as he prepares for his first full season of FR Americas Powered by Honda that begins at the end of the month.

Joining the team for the Superkarts! USA Winter Series and back for more this coming weekend will be Micro Swift driver David Ramirez and KA100 Junior competitor G3 Agyros. While both drivers showed progression through January and February, they will look to continue that upward trend in March courtesy of the SCR driver development efforts.

Speed Concepts Racing competitors will hit the track on Thursday for unofficial practice and progress through Friday to fine tune their equipment as they prepare for the weekend. A pair of wheel-to-wheel race days will commence on Saturday for round one while Sunday is reserved for round two.
