Multi-time winners in 2021 in both the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour and Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Winter Series, Speed Concepts Racing and Paul Bocuse have mutually agreed to part ways effective immediately. During the long lasting and successful pairing, the combination showed steady improvement and growth both on and off the track and had developed into a potent combination in the Junior ranks of karting.

“We wish nothing but the best for Paul as a driver and his family in the future,” explained Mike Speed. “It is safe to say that Speed Concepts Racing helped mold and build Paul into the driver and race winner that he turned out to be in 2021. He will be a future champion in karting and will move up the motorsports ranks, and I hope that he will be able to look back and tell people that Speed Concepts Racing had a hand in his success.”

Coming from the mid-pack of the Mini ROK and Mini Swift class, Bocuse moved to the Junior ranks scoring a handful of podiums during a Covid-stricken 2020. Focusing on his 2021 campaign, Bocuse was a double class winner at the opening round of the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour taking the top step of the podium in VLR Junior and Junior ROK at the Isle Casino in Pompano Beach and extending his podium streak in February standing on the second step of the block in VLR Junior at Ocala. A podium winner at round two of the SKUSA Winter Series, Bocuse and Speed Concepts Racing went on to claim the round four victory in X30 Junior en route to a third-place result in the championship.

Speed added, “Paul has grown from a young kid into a talented driver. He will be a success for years to come. See you at the track.”

With the departure of Bocuse, Speed Concepts Racing has an opening in one of the most coveted Junior seats in the country. With a proven track record and a race winning program, you could be next!

Next up for Speed Concepts Racing will be the opening round of the United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS) March 11-14, one week prior to the final round of the 2021 ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour.
