After a successful restart to the 2020 Formula Pro USA Championship Presented by Exclusive Racing Championship less than two weeks ago, teams and competitors will head back to the track this weekend. Taking on the picturesque Sonoma, California facility for the Formula Car Festival of Speed at Sonoma Raceway, the series will reach the halfway mark as championship battles begin to take shape.
“No rest for us now,” explained Brent Morgan. “With the fluidity in our schedule, we have a couple of weekends that run into one another as it feels like some events end and others are just about to start. After this event, our calendar returns to events every six or seven weeks, but we needed to push hard through June to ensure we could get all our events in. With that being said, we look to welcome racers and teams to Sonoma Raceway and can’t wait to get the weekend started.”
The Formula Car Festival of Speed at Sonoma Raceway will see the Formula Pro USA Championship Presented by Exclusive Racing but will also include the vintage series, The Crossflow Cup, racing vintage Formula Fords and the Formula Car Challenge Series racing Formula Mazda and Pro Formula Mazda.
