Crisscrossing his way across the country for most of the season, Ryan Shehan will race relatively close to home this coming weekend. Competing at the SuperNats Shootout event at the Speedsportz Racing Park just outside of Houston, Texas, Shehan will be back with Team Crosslink as he competes in the talent filled X30 Senior class in his hopes to become the first winner in the inaugural event.
“We marked this event on our race calendar as soon as it was announced,” expressed Ryan Shehan. “I love the Speedsportz facility and have performed well there in the past. My most recent national event yielded good results, and I am looking to build upon those this weekend at the SuperNats Shootout.”
Racing with the potent Team Crosslink program with support from Stilo USA and Lucky Design USA, Ryan Shehan will be coached by Christian Boudon as he aims to climb the podium.
Shehan added, “There will be some tough competition as the rumor is that several top teams with a few of their national drivers will be in attendance. While the goal is to win, I will also take the event to further my skills and gain experience as we move towards the end of the season for USPKS, ROK, and into 2021.”
With unofficial practice taking place on Thursday, Ryan Shehan will look to fine tune his Exprit Chassis on Friday during official sessions. With wheel-to-wheel action taking place over the weekend, Shehan hopes to be the first to reach the checkered flag on Sunday.
Competing at the highest level of karting takes support and Ryan Shehan would like to thank Team Crosslink, OTK USA, Lucky Designs, Stilo Helmets, Guide North, Sean Owens, Christian Boudon, John Russell, Zach Hamilton, and the rest of his support crew for the continued support in 2020.
