Gaining experience across many different platforms of motorsports, Orlando, Florida’s Ayrton Ori will be making one of his biggest starts yet. Inking a deal to compete in the ARCA Menards Series with Visconti Motorsports at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course, the 16-year-old has received primary support from Permatex through their Spray Nine brand with Novo Nordisk’s Norditropin jumping on board as an associate partner for the August 14th event.

“This is a huge opportunity for me to compete in my home state in the ARCA Series,” expressed Ayrton Ori, a current competitor in the USF2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires with Legacy Autosport. “A huge thank you to Spray Nine, Permatex and Novo Nordisk for the help and support as well as to John Visconti, Visconti Motorsports and their team partners for believing in me. I know it will be my first ARCA race, but I have my goals set high.”

Competing at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course a few months ago in a BMW GT car, Ori brings some track experience and knowledge with him to the Visconti program. Piloting the Permatex branded #74, Ori will carry a pair of in-car camera views via the MavTV network provider.

Ori added, “I raced at the same facility earlier this year with Matt Connolly Motorsports in a BMW GT car and set some of the fastest laps of the race. As a resident of Florida, I have been attending the Rolex 24 since I was in a stroller and been driving the Daytona road course on a simulator since I was five. I love the track and can’t wait to compete in my first ARCA event. I know this is only one event right now, but who knows what the future may hold.”

“I was introduced to Keith via a mutual friend and after only a few conversations, we had plans to get Ayrton in the car,” explained John Visconti, Owner of Visconti Motorsports. “This is our one and only road course event of the season and Ayrton comes with a healthy resume of road course success. We have an average finishing position of 6.3 which is pretty good but feel that Ayrton is the driver that can help improve those numbers.”

Visconti continued, “Being a road course event, several teams will bring in road course specialists. We did not want to go to a gun fight with a knife and Ayrton brings us the experience we need to compete. Our goal is to 100% win this race as we are not racing for second, third or fourth. While this is a bigger and heavier car than Ayrton is normally accustomed to, I have confidence in his abilities to adjust and help us achieve success in Daytona.”

As a recent graduate of the ninth grade, Ori enters the first event weekend of the series with support from Permatex, Spray Nine, Novo Nordisk Norditropin, Poyatech Window Film, Bell Helmets and Visconti Motorsports. Additionally, Ayrton is an Ambassador for the Human Growth Foundation. Visconti Motorsports would like to thank all of their partners including EventTone Wireless Nextel, The Reichert Group, Bomber Eyewear and Circle TPR.
