As the Pirelli World Challenge (PWC) enters the fifth event weekend of 2018, Parker Chase and his TruSpeed AutoSport outfit will travel north of the border to Canada as they look to keep their podium streak alive. Competing at the iconic Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (CTMP), the 17-year-old Texan will be hunting for his fifth podium result in as many weekends as he pilots the #19 Vertical Bridge / New Braunfels Convention and Visitors Bureau / ProBalance Protein Water / Music Movement Audi R8 GT3 LMS in the stout category.
“I am really motivated to get my first win of the year,” explains Chase. “I have been on the podium both driving the car alone and during SprintX weekends with Ryan Dalziel. We have finished second and third, but are searching for our first win of the season.”
Traveling to Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada, just outside the metropolis of Toronto, Chase will steer his Audi Sport customer racing GT3 around the 2.459-mile Canadian Tire Motorsports Park Grand Prix Circuit as he enters the event under the watchful eye of SprintX Co-Driver and Driver Coach Ryan Dalziel. While Chase will compete individually this weekend in Canada, the duo will be back on track together the following weekend at the Lime Rock Park facility in Lakeville, Connecticut.
Chase continues, “It is great to have a driver such as Ryan assisting me with my driving. He is a true sportscar driver and understands the importance that he brings to the team. It is also a pleasure to share the car with him on SprintX weekends as I continue to learn.”
Leaving the Virginia International Raceway less than three weeks ago, Chase has been busy promoting his racing program and marketing partners. Showcasing his Audi at the Wein and Saengerfest in the downtown corridor of New Braunfels, Chase was onsite throughout the day signing autographs, taking photos and allowing visitors to get up close and personal with his R8. More recently, Parker was spotted at Buc-ees ‘The Fun Store’ for a photo shoot and continued promotion for the
