Paityn Mary Jane Feyen is putting together a standout 2026 Late Model campaign with MKM Racing Development, continuing to establish herself as one of the Southeast’s rising young talents while leading multiple championship battles with just one race remaining.

Feyen currently leads the NASCAR Division I Rookie of the Year standings across the entire Southeast, while also sitting atop the North Carolina Rookie of the Year standings. Her impressive season extends even further, as she currently leads the Hickory Motor Speedway track championship standings and the Big “10” Racing Challenge.

With just one race remaining at Hickory Motor Speedway, Feyen has positioned herself within striking distance of several major accomplishments. A championship at Hickory would be particularly historic, as no female driver has ever won a championship at the legendary circuit, widely regarded as one of the most important tracks in American short-track racing.

The opportunity is the latest chapter in a season that has required Feyen to consistently overcome adversity. Through the highs and lows, she has continued to develop as a driver, improving week after week while gaining valuable experience competing at one of the country’s most competitive Late Model venues.

Now, Feyen will enter the final race of the Hickory season looking to represent both MKM Racing Development and the track’s talented racing community with a strong finish to an already exceptional campaign.

“This season has meant so much to me because of everything we’ve been able to overcome and everything I’ve learned along the way,” says Feyen. “To be leading the Rookie of the Year standings, the track championship, and the Big ’10’ with only one race left is something I’m incredibly proud of, but there’s still work to do. Hickory has such an incredible history and such a great group of competitors and being in a position to fight for a championship here is something I don’t take for granted. I just want to keep working, keep learning, and represent MKM Racing Development and everyone at Hickory the best I can. Regardless of how these the championships turn out, I’m proud of how far we’ve come and how much I’ve grown as a driver this year.”

Feyen’s progress throughout the season serves as a testament to the importance of strong driver development. Her ability to transition between different racing disciplines while continuing to improve demonstrates the potential of a well-rounded development program to prepare the next generation of racing talent.

Feyen’s final Hickory Motor Speedway race will take place this weekend. With multiple championships still within reach, she will look to maintain her momentum and continue building on what has already been a phenomenal 2026 season.

No matter where the championship battles ultimately finish, Feyen has established herself as a driver to watch as she continues her development with MKM Racing Development and works toward the next stage of her racing career.
