In the motorsports world, business names can go a long way in defining your business. Operating under the One Formula Racing banner since the inception of the company, Competition One Racing becomes the new business name for the multi-dimensional company as Tony Grau and Steve Stadel partner to offer the same great value, service and support that has been experienced in the past.

“One Formula Racing was chosen in 2003 when we were running exclusively in the SCCA Formula Enterprise series,” explained Steve Stadel. “As times have changed and we have run in other series, we decided it was time for a name change and we will now be known as Competition One Racing.”

Stadel continued, “Along with changing the name, Tony Grau and I have partnered in the next chapter of this business. Together, we will continue to offer the same great experience that we have in the past, but as a partnership, we have more hands in the mix to make sure that our customers are satisfied and that our business is at the top of its game. Additionally, it allows us to expand into other areas of the market which we should be able to officially announce in a few weeks’ time.

Continuing to be the Central Division SCCA Customer Service Representative for the Formula Enterprise Cars, Competition One Racing has multiple programs available for the 2020 season.

“This is an exciting time for me personally as I am confident that we can take this business and race team to the next level,” added Competition One Racing’s new business partner Tony Grau. “We are back-to-back SCCA Runoff National Champions in the FE2 class and these two drivers have gone on to do bigger and more challenging series. We will be adding to our stable of cars and driver lineup in the coming weeks and look forward to announcing our 2020 race plans and drivers that we will be working with.”

Looking to expand beyond the realm of formula cars, Competition One Racing aims to enter the Trans-Am Series in 2020.
