With one Las Vegas event already behind them, Supertune his headed back to Sin City for their final North American race. Taking on the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals on the grounds of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Supertune will bring ten entries including national and international race winners as well as a former SKUSA SuperNationals Champion.
“We have assembled a strong lineup and should be able to fight at the front of the field in four different classes,” expressed Ben Cruttenden. “The majority of our drivers come from the junior ranks, but we have very strong X30 Senior drivers who could fight for the win on Super Sunday.”
In the Mini Swift category, a pair of Supertune drivers in Diego Ardiles and Asher Ochstein will look towards the front of the field. With both drivers race winners in 2021, the duo should provide Supertune with a powerful one – two punch in the second youngest class on the schedule.
Five drivers will battle in X30 Junior and will be led by Noah Baker, who will be the only Supertune driver to pull double duty in Las Vegas. Competing as the lone Supertune driver in the KA100 Junior class, Baker will be joined by four others in the X30 ranks. Former Micro Swift SKUSA SuperNationals winner Vinnie Phillips will look to double down in Las Vegas as he will be joined by Mexican standout Iñaki Goicoechea and Supertune regulars Jorge Ortiz and Fernando Luque.
Aaron Walker, the 2020 X30 Junior World Champion and European Champion, will pilot a Supertune prepared Tony Kart as he enters the X30 Senior ranks. A frontrunner around the world, Walker will look to put his name at the top of the results sheets once qualifying begins on Thursday. Joining Walker in the senior ranks will be perennial frontrunner and F4 driver Santiago Trisini. Returning to the SuperNationals, Trisini will provide Supertune with a powerful driver combination in X30 Senior.
Cruttenden added, “We can’t wait to get started and hit the track on Wednesday. We are aiming to end 2021 on a high and kick start our 2022 campaign with some solid results in Las Vegas.”
