After multiple podium results during the first quarter of the 2024 season, Team Supertune’s Nathan Dupuis closed his ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour campaign with a championship podium result earning a ticket to ROK Vegas later this year. Despite not finding the podium during the final event weekend at the Orlando Kart Center, Dupuis battled his way forward to finish in the top-five throughout the series scoring enough points to finish third overall in the talent-filled ROK Junior category.

“The goal was accomplished this past weekend,” explained Nathan Dupuis. “After a second-place result during the first round, I knew that we would have a shot at either the championship or finishing on the championship podium when the season finished. Despite all the changes throughout the first three months of the year, I think this is a great result and builds some momentum to move forward.”

With the first two events taking place at the AMR Motorplex in Homestead, Florida, Dupuis competed in a pair of classes. Standing on the podium with a P2 result in ROK Junior, it was a difficult opening round in ROK VLR Junior where the young Canadian was only able to muster a 31st place result. Returning to the same facility less than a month later for round two, competitors ran in the opposite direction with Dupuis earning a pair of top-ten results, fourth in ROK Junior and eighth in VLR Junior to solidify his presence in the top-ten.

Traveling north to complete the Florida Winter Tour this past weekend at the Orlando Kart Center, Dupuis was once again at the pointy end of the field finishing sixth in the VLR Junior class after crossing the stripe in fourth and receiving a two-position penalty, while driving to a solid fourth-place finish in ROK Junior.

Dupuis, who joined Team Supertune in February added, “The Florida Winter Tour rewards consistency and in the three races, I never finished outside the top-five in a ROK Junior final. A huge thank you to everyone who has been a part of my race program, and I am excited for more in 2024.”
