It was a successful start to the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America season for young driver Bryson Morris who managed to take home two podiums in the first two races of the season. Pulling double duty and competing with ANSA Motorsports in a Lamborghini and with Bryan Herta Autosport in a Hyundai in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge program, it was a jam-packed event for the young Morris.

In the first Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America race of the year, Morris, alongside his ANSA Motorsports driving teammate Loris Cabirou, qualified third in class and held on to that podium result through the checkered flag, claiming their first podium of the weekend and the 2024 season. Along with the podium result, Bryson Morris also earned the fastest lap of the race. Despite a penalty in the first Super Trofeo North America race that positioned Morris and his teammate fifth in class for the start of race two, the #30 driving duo pushed their way to another podium appearance in second place to close out their weekend.

“It feels good to be back up on the podium,” expressed Morris. “I’ve been working hard driving in both the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series and the Michelin Pilot Challenge and it feels like I’ve finally gotten a break. We’re going to celebrate these podiums for sure. As for the Michelin Pilot Challenge, some issues plagued us, but we’ll come back stronger at the next one.”

Morris also took part in the Alan Jay Automotive Network 120, partnering with former IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge Champion Taylor Hagler for the second round of the 2024 season. An issue early in the race set the Bryan Herta Autosport duo back two laps, as they were forced to ultimately settle for a disappointing ninth-place result. With the result not what they had wanted, Morris was able to better the pace of the rest of the field and go on to score his second-fastest lap of the race honors over the weekend.

Morris will journey to the West Coast next for the Motul Course De Monterey Powered by Hyundai at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca May 10-12 for another double-duty driving weekend piloting cars in both the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series.
