The IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge has just surpassed the halfway point as Bryan Herta Autosport drivers Bryson Morris and Taylor Hagler are heating up. Drivers of the #77 Hyundai Elantra N TCR, Morris and Hagler prep for a journey north to The Dairy State to battle around the lengthy 4.048-mile, 14-turn road course at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
This will be the seventh round of the 2024 season and Morris and Hagler are coming off their best finish yet. Finishing just shy of the podium at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park with a fourth-place result, the driving duo is looking for more at America’s National Park of Speed this weekend.
“Our time is coming,” explained, Morris. “We’ve been working towards this all season and have had great progress and better results each race. Our race in Canada was our strongest to date this season, and we have momentum on our side. We have reset our goals for this coming weekend at Road America and look forward to achieving it.”
Along with the rest of the Bryan Herta Autosport crew, Morris will participate in two practice sessions on Friday, followed by a qualifying session first thing Saturday morning, with the 120-minute-long race going green Saturday afternoon at 2:45 PM (ET).
