For Megan Tomlinson, this weekend is more than just another race. Behind the wheel of the #37 Precision Racing LA Audi RS3 LMS TCR, co-driven by her father Ron Tomlinson, the duo will look find their way to kiss the iconic yard of bricks.
Referred to as “The Racing Capital of the World,” the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is home to some of the sport’s most legendary moments. The IMS road course adds a modern twist to the iconic Brickyard, combining sections of the famous oval with a 14-turn, 2.439-mile infield layout that demands precision, patience, and bravery from every driver.
For Megan, the chance to race alongside her father at such a historic venue makes the weekend even more special.
“Racing at Indianapolis is something I’ve dreamed about since I was a kid,” explained Tomlinson. “To be here with my dad, sharing the car and the experience, is incredible. This track has so much history, and now we get to add our own little chapter to it. We’ve been building momentum all season, and I’m excited to see what we can do at the Brickyard.”
With only two races left in the season, Megan and Ron are determined to make their mark at one of the most iconic racetracks in the world. The weekend kicks off with two practice sessions on Friday before moving into Saturday morning qualifying.
