MEGAN TOMLINSON BATTLES TO TOP-TEN AT WATKINS GLEN IN IMSA MICHELIN PILOT CHALLENGE

Megan Tomlinson delivered a determined and composed drive through the field at Watkins Glen International this past weekend in Round 5 of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. Sharing the #37 Precision Racing LA Audi RS3 LMS TCR with her father, Ron Tomlinson, Megan showcased grit and steady progression, turning a mid-pack start into a hard-earned top-ten finish at one of the most iconic road courses in North America.

Qualifying 16th in class on Friday, the father-daughter duo had their work cut out for them during Saturday’s two-hour endurance race, the LP Building Solutions 120. But Megan proved up to the task. Behind the wheel during her stint, she put her head down, avoided chaos, and executed clean overtakes, ultimately climbing to tenth place in the TCR class at the checkered flag.

“This was one of those weekends where persistence really paid off,” said Megan Tomlinson. “We had a gear box failure during qualifying which didn’t allow us to put down our best laps, so once the green flag dropped, it was all about staying focused, being consistent, and picking off positions one by one. To share another strong run with my dad makes it even more special. Watkins Glen is such a fast and flowing circuit—it demands a lot from the car and the driver, and I’m really proud of how we handled it as a team.”

Tomlinson’s result adds another strong chapter to her growing presence in the TCR field, reinforcing her ability to deliver under pressure and work her way through competitive traffic. The next stop for Megan and the Precision Racing LA squad will be a trip north of the border to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP), July 11–13, for the sixth round of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, and the only international event on the 2025 calendar.
