TOPP Racing’s Tyler Maxson is set to take on one of the most iconic circuits in North America this weekend as the Porsche Carrera Cup North America heads to Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal for the third event of the 2025 season.
The weekend marks the only international stop on the Porsche Carrera Cup calendar and the second of three events running alongside Formula 1 this year. Set in the heart of Montreal, the Canadian Grand Prix weekend provides Maxson with a unique opportunity to showcase his talent on a global stage.
“I’m really excited to be racing in Montreal this weekend,” explained Maxson. “It’s always special to compete on a Formula 1 weekend, and Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is one of those legendary tracks every driver dreams of racing on. It’s going to be a challenge, but I know the team has put in the work to give us a strong car, and I’m ready to make the most of it.”
The action begins on Friday, June 14, with two practice sessions as Maxson and the TOPP Racing crew get up to speed on the demanding 2.71-mile circuit. Qualifying takes place Saturday morning, setting the grid for Race 1 Saturday afternoon. The weekend concludes Sunday morning with Race 2, just hours before the lights go out for the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix.
