With a new season brings new direction for some drivers and one of the top shifterkart drivers in the country is changing colors and brands for 2018. Floridian standout Mathias Ramirez has inked a deal to join AM Racing and the Parolin Factory Racing Team program for the upcoming season and will begin his quest for race wins and championships in January at the popular winter karting programs in Florida.

“I am really looking forward to 2018 and cannot wait to get started,” explained Mathias Ramirez. “I had a good test with the team and really like the chassis. It definitely suits my driving style. I am excited to join my new teammates as well as work with Ariel Castro, AM Engines and VCI of Miami.”

As Parolin looks to make a splash in the North American market, Ramirez is one of many drivers that are switching to the potent brand. Announced last week that Jeremy Fairbairn and Daniel Formal will also pilot the Parolin chassis in 2018, Ramirez brings more depth to the Florida based team as they look to kick off the season right.

Ramirez continued, “I would like to thank Jacob Mottaz, Ryan Child and the entire Andersen Racing Team for believing in me. I would like to thank Ronni Sala and BirelART for the support and a great 2017 season. Moving forward, my new partnership will open many doors for the future and I can’t thank Marco from Parolin Racing and Ariel Castro of AM Engines enough for taking a step forward with me.”

Mathias Ramirez will represent the the Parolin Factory Racing Team beginning in Florida at the ROK Cup Promotions Florida Winter Tour, the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Winter Tour as well as the SKUSA Pro Tour.
