Martella Motorsports is looking to make a splash this weekend at the Honda Indy Toronto. Competing alongside the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, Martella Motorsports and Marco Cirone will battle in the 2023 FEL Sports Car Championship Canada presented by Michelin event in a brand-new Audi RS3 LMS TCR machine.

“It’s the Indy week in Toronto,” exclaimed Martella Motorsports Owner Tony Martella, whose son is a top kart racer in North America. “This is like Christmas Day for Martella Motorsports. We are anxious and excited to spend the rest of the week in downtown Toronto and look forward to getting on track.”

Set to battle the 1.786-mile, 11-turn, barrier-lined circuit, Marco Cirone will pilot the #82 Martella Motorsports Audi RS3.

Martella added, “This is a bucket list event for us and the start of a promising program that we have lined up for the rest of 2023 and beyond.”

While Cirone will be driving the Martella Motorsports entry, the youngest Martella, Anthony Martella Jr. will be roaming the paddock talking to teams as he looks to advance his own motorsports career.

“My son and I have grown through the karting ranks and now he is at the age and ready to make the next step,” added the elder Martella. “We have several meetings set up over our time in Toronto with USF2000 and USF Juniors teams to see what the future may hold. It is an exciting time in the Martella Motorsports family.”

Set to hit the track on Friday for a single practice session, Cirone and Martella Motorsports will take part in three wheel-to-wheel races over the weekend with two on Saturday and the third and final chance for a podium result on Sunday morning.

Martella Motorsports is extremely proud to have NIN Transportation as a part of their partnership program for the 2023 season with additional partners to be announced in the very near future.
