Martella Motorsports, a growing motorsports outfit north of the border in Canada, is pleased to announce Marco Cirone as the newest member of their expanding program. Cirone is set to compete in the 2023 FEL Sport Car Championship Canada presented by Michelin in a brand-new Audi RS3 LMS TCR machine.
“We’ve been hard at work, behind the scenes for the past year and a half developing our junior program with my son, Anthony Martella, and to complete a deal like this with Marco Cirone is exciting,” explained Tony Martella. “With the help of Audi Canada to allocate us a new Audi RS3 LMS TCR car, I couldn’t be more excited to get the season started. We have our goals set high and look forward to our first event at the end of May.”
“I am so excited to be participating in the 2023 FEL program,” added Marco Cirone. “When the call came through and we managed to create a partnership with Martella Motorsports, we were all so thrilled. Racing in Canada with a truly professional group of organizers and participants is something that we are all passionate about. I believe 2023 will be the best year ever with FEL, and I can’t wait to get started and fire up that new Audi RS3!”
With great resources and assistance from the team at Bestline Autotech, Martella Motorsports and Cirone are putting all the pieces in place to make a push for the overall TCR championship. With Cirone competing in the full 2023 program, recently announced F1600 Britain West Motorsports driver Anthony Martella will compete in select events in a Gen 1 car currently owned by Martella Motorsports.

The 2023 FEL Sport Car Championship Canada presented by Michelin season begins over the May 19-21 weekend at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Bowmanville, ON. Stay tuned!
