LEGACY AUTOSPORT SET FOR TORONTO WITH HOLDEN AS TEAM LOOKS TO CLOSE OUT 2019 WITH MOMENTUM

Announced just last week that Indiana resident Zach Holden would pilot the #14 Legacy Autosport entry in Toronto, the top tier team is now headed north of the border to Canada. Bringing only a single entry to the Streets of Toronto, Legacy Autosport will look to help Holden better his podium performance from the temporary street circuit at St. Petersburg back in March.

“Zach is a true racer and someone that I think his results can help elevate our program,” explained Mike Meyer. “We have undergone a few changes since Road America so bringing one car and focusing on that effort was key for our future. Our next event after Toronto is at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, and we hope to have both of our entries on track there, with one already confirmed.”

Completing a seat fit last week, Holden will face an uphill battle but both he and the team are up to the challenge. With a deal coming together last minute, there was no time to complete any test laps before heading to Canada.

Meyer continued, “Though Zach has never competed in Toronto, he performed flawlessly earlier in the year on the barrier lined street circuit in St. Pete. Finishing fifth and third, we are hoping that we can better those results in Toronto.”
