With the 2019 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship in the rear view mirrors, Indianapolis, Indiana’s Legacy Autosport continues to push forward. Inking a deal with Jonathan Kotyk, the Florida resident will pilot one of the potent Legacy Autosport entries at the upcoming Chris Griffis Memorial Test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway over the October 19th and 20th weekend.

“Jonathan has been a threat in everything he has driven,” explained Mike Meyer of Legacy Autosport. “He was a frontrunner in karting and that transitioned into open wheel racing. He has shown his strengths as a brand ambassador and works hard both on and off the track. While we are uncertain of his 2020 plans, we are excited to have him behind the wheel flying the Legacy Autosport colors at the Chris Griffis Test.”

Racking up numerous karting championships, Kotyk advanced to the F1600 program and continued his winning ways. With multiple championships, race wins and countless podium results, the Floridian is a contender at each and every event weekend. Continuing to build his brand and raise the necessary funding to compete, Kotyk is an elite level karting mechanic and coach, and has helped teams and drivers develop their race craft and equipment. He works hard to stay in the seat and in front of the eyes of Team Owners throughout North America.

“I can’t thank Legacy Autosport enough for the opportunity,” added Kotyk. “They have been a team on the rise in the recent twelve months, and I only hope that I can help them in their goal of becoming the premier team in USF2000 competition.”

With less than two weeks until the upcoming test, Legacy Autosport is continuing to add pieces to their growing puzzle. With the opportunity to run an additional USF2000 entry, interested parties are urged to contact Mike Meyer ASAP.
