Kicking off a busy month for Vortex ROK competition, Lodi, California’s Greg Bell and Leading Edge Motorsports (LEM) are jet setting their way around the world. With three team drivers earning tickets for the prestigious ROK Cup SuperFinal at the famed South Garda Karting facility in Lonato, Italy, Danny Formal, Casey Moyer and Timothy Meyer Jr. will fly the LEM colors in their quest for ROK Cup glory.

Leading the way into Italy is multi-time karting champion Danny Formal. As one of the most talented shifterkart drivers in North America, Formal is a veteran of the ROK Cup program. Earning his ticket through the United States ROK Fest program, Formal will pilot a Leading Edge Motorsports / Greg Bell tuned Formula K kart in the Shifter ROK division.

“Danny is the real deal and a driver that could stand on the top step of the podium in Italy,” explained Bell. “Whether he is in the seat every week or jumps behind the wheel during a one-off event, he always has pace. Last year he had a disappointing second place result at the ROK Cup USA ROK the RIO event, but since then, he has been on a tear and I am expecting big things from him across the pond.”

Casey Moyer will join Leading Edge Motorsports as he partners Formal on the potent Formula K chassis. Competing in the talent filled Vortex Mini ROK class, Moyer will battle more than one hundred fellow Mini ROKKERS as he aims for the top step of the podium. As a frontrunner at the ROK Sonoma Presented by Sanzaru, Moyer enters his first career international event next week based on an invitation from IPK and Leading Edge Motorsports

Piloting a Praga chassis, Timothy Meyer Jr. will also make his way to Europe and the ROK Cup SuperFinal. Running under the Team USA and Leading Edge Motorsports banner, Meyer will see action in the Expert ROK Plus class. As a leader in the Masters class in North America, Meyer, much like Moyer, was invited to participate in the SuperFinal event via invitation from IPK and Leading Edge Motorsports based on his loyalty to both companies. As a veteran karter with countless race wins and podium results, Meyer enters the 45 years of age and older class with victory on his mind.

Bell continued, “All three of our Leading Edge Motorsports drivers have rightfully earned their trips to Italy through their results. These three are proof that the IPK line of products and Leading Edge Motorsports program work, and we will continue to push top bring the brand to the top of the karting world.”

With a trip to Italy for the ROK Cup SuperFinal that takes place October 7 – 12, Leading Edge Motorsports will return to the United States and prep for their second ROK event of the month. Ending the ROK Cup USA calendar with the annual ROK the RIO event at the RIO All-Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, it is a busy month for Bell and his crew as they crisscross their way around the world.

With test and 2020 race team opportunities available, Greg Bell and his established Lodi, California based company are ready to serve and have team openings for all events in 2020.
