Kiwi Motorsport is set to return to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca this weekend for the penultimate round of the Formula Pro USA West Championship, bringing a six-car lineup across the F3 and F4 classes as the 2026 season enters its final stretch.
The team returns to the iconic California circuit after competing at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca earlier this season for Round 4 in June. The return provides Kiwi Motorsport and its drivers another opportunity to build on the experience gained during their previous visit to the challenging 2.238-mile, 11-turn circuit.
Jake Bonilla will lead the team’s F3 effort and make his F3 debut in the series this weekend. Bonilla will look to make the most of his first opportunity in the category as Kiwi Motorsport continues to develop its driver lineup.
In F4, Kiwi Motorsport will field Lucas Hand, Mauricio Robbins, Chloe Jade, and Ana Palestro. Jade and Palestro will pull double duty throughout the weekend, competing not only in the Formula Pro USA West Championship but also in the Formula Pro Women’s Racing Series.
With its combination of returning drivers and a new F3 debut, Kiwi Motorsport will look to make the most of its second visit to Laguna Seca this season as it prepares for the final two events of the championship.
“It’s exciting to bring this lineup back to Laguna Seca, especially with Jake making his F3 debut and Chloe and Ana competing in both championships,” said Kiwi Motorsport Team Owner Teena Larsen. “We were able to learn a lot during our first visit here in June, so having that experience to build from is valuable. We want to keep developing our drivers, give them as much track time as possible, and finish these final two events of the season on a strong note.”
Known for its elevation changes and technical corners, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca provides a demanding challenge for drivers. The circuit’s most famous section is the Corkscrew, a dramatic downhill sequence featuring significant elevation change that requires precision and commitment.
With only two rounds remaining in the Formula Pro USA West season, Kiwi Motorsport will look to maximize the penultimate weekend while continuing to build momentum toward the season finale. The weekend will begin Friday with practice and qualifying, followed by a qualifying race and a sprint race on Saturday. The weekend will conclude Sunday with one final sprint race.
