Local driver Jason Bell will return to the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg this weekend. Set to compete in the Grand Sport X (GSX) class in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, Bell will pilot a ProSport Competition-prepared Aston Martin Vantage GT4 at the legendary street race as he competes alongside the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

“I have raced and won in St. Pete before, and I want to try and accomplish that again this weekend in one last GT4 race,” explained Bell, who resides in the nearby Tampa area. “I have a great team behind me, and I have experience in St. Pete so I am confident that we will be at the front when the time counts.”

With support from the “Meat Market,” Bell will hit the track Friday for a pair of practice sessions before qualifying later that afternoon to set the grid for both wheel-to-wheel races. In a quick two-day weekend format, both race events will take place Saturday and provide Bell and ProSport Competition the opportunity to stand atop the podium twice with the final checkered flag falling late in the day.

Bell added, “This will be my last race in the GT4, and I would like nothing but to end it on top, especially here in St. Pete.”
