With the date and event circled on his calendar since the announcement that the SRO Motorsports GT America class would compete at the Music City Grand Prix, Jason Bell and his Aston Martin are ready to take on the Streets of Nashville. Set for this coming weekend, August 6-8, Bell and his GMG Racing outfit will look to reign supreme in the inaugural event that will push competitors to the limit around the 2.17-mile, 11-turn layout.
“I love Nashville, and I love racecars so there is no better combination,” explained Jason Bell. “In all seriousness, this event is shaping up to be one of the best and biggest on our 2021 calendar, and I am happy that we have a chance to compete. The track is one of a kind and the entertainment that is happening throughout the event weekend is second to none. Kudos to the promoters and everyone who has had a part to build the Music City Grand Prix. We can’t wait to get the weekend started.”
Competing with the GMG Racing outfit behind the wheel of his #2 Aston Martin Vantage GT4, Bell will aim high in Nashville. In an event that features the NTT IndyCar Series, TransAm Series, Stadium Supertrucks and more, Bell is concerned about only one thing, the title of the Music City Grand Prix inaugural GT4 Champion.
Bell continued, “Every race we enter is one we want to win. But if I had to pick one all year, this is the one!”
Set to hit the track on Friday for a pair of practice sessions, qualifying will take place on Saturday afternoon with the first wheel-to-wheel racing that night under the lights. Sunday will be the home of the second race of the weekend as the green flag flies mid-afternoon, just prior to the start of the NTT IndyCar Series race. Stay tuned to Jason Bell’s social media pages for news, information, photos and results from the event weekend.
Jason Bell would like to thank all of his partners for their continued support. A huge thanks to GMG Racing, Aston Martin Racing, and Ceramic Pro USA.
