JASON BELL: CANADIAN TIRE MOTORSPORTS PARK PREVIEW

With the one and only event in the Pirelli World Challenge program outside the United States, Floridian Jason Bell will trek north of the border to Canada for the next round this weekend. Taking on the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park and the GTSA division in his Audi R8 GT4 LMS with M1 GT Racing, Bell would like nothing more to return back home with some hardware.

“I have put VIR behind me and am focused on results,” explains Bell. “I hope we got rid of all of our bad luck and can use the pace that we have had to get on the podium.”

“VIR was a difficult weekend results wise for us but there are a lot of positives that we can take from it as we move forward to Canada,” adds M1 GT Racing Technical Director Remi Lanteigne. “We definitely had the speed for podium results, we worked well as a team, our trackside perception is second to none and we represented the M1 GT Racing and the Audi brand with the highest of standards. If we keep doing the things that we can control to the best of our abilities, the results that Jason deserves will come.”

Bell continues, “I am ready to win. I think I have a great group of people around me and a quality race car. If we can limit our mistakes, we are on the podium and then we can fight for the win.”

The official Pirelli World Challenge weekend kicks off on Friday, May 18th with two practice sessions. Saturday morning will see a qualifying session while the afternoon will be the home of the first wheel-to-wheel action of the weekend. Bell and M1 GT Racing will return to the track Sunday for race two before quickly packing up and making the short trek to Lime Rock Park for back-to-back event weekends.

Jason Bell would like to thank his partners for their continued support. A special thanks to Continental Benefits, Osteria, Frost NYC, Gridsport, Reeves Motorsports, Audi of Tampa and M1 GT Racing.
