The third round of the FIA WEC 2024 season at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium is now complete, and the Isotta Fraschini Duqueine team continues to climb the charts race by race. Equipped with the driving trio of Carl Bennett, JK Vernay, and Antonio Serravalle, the crew on the #11 Isotta Fraschini Duqueine car shared the achievement of their highest result of the 2024 season so far.

A qualifying of 18th in class placed the trio further back than they would have hoped to start the six-hour race, but powering through, the #11 Hypercar driving trio advanced forward three positions to finish 15th, their most decisive finish yet in this very young season.

“I keep reiterating, we’re getting better every track session,” explains driver Carl Bennett. “Our goal is to fight up front, and we keep getting closer to achieving that. Up next is the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans, and everyone knows anything can happen in that race, so we’ll start preparing now to come back stronger in that round. Overall, a good result for the team, but still work to be done.”

Carl Bennett and the rest of the Isotta Fraschini Duqueine team will pick back up in just over a month at Circuit de la Sarthe in France June 13-16 for round four of the FIA World Endurance Championship, the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans event. More information on the event can be found here.
