Hollingshead Performance is proud to announce its entry into the Toyota GR Cup North America for the 2026 season. The team will campaign a partial schedule with two cars available, marking an exciting new chapter for the expanding program. Team owner and driver Zachary Hollingshead will pilot the #3 Toyota GR Cup car at the season-opening Grand Prix of Arlington and later in the year at Road Atlanta. A second driver for the program will be announced at a later date.
In addition to its race entries, Hollingshead Performance will offer arrive-and-drive opportunities and private testing programs throughout the season. The team currently has one additional Toyota GR Cup car available for select events later in the year. Between race weekends, Hollingshead Performance will conduct test days and offer car rentals to drivers interested in competing in the GR Cup or gaining valuable seat time in a professional race environment.
“As someone who has been on both sides of the motorsports industry — as a driver and crew member — I feel as though I’ve gained enough experience to take on the challenge of running my own racing program as team principal,” explained Zachary Hollingshead. “From karting to cars, I have always been interested in understanding not only the driver’s side of racing but also the business operations behind it. This opportunity to showcase my versatility in the paddock is something I’ve been looking forward to for quite some time.”
Hollingshead is also eager to return to the GR Cup grid after limited appearances over the past two seasons. Having competed in just four GR Cup events in the last two years, the 2026 campaign represents a renewed commitment and fresh opportunity to build momentum within the ultra-competitive single-make championship.
“I’m really excited to be back in GR Cup on a more consistent basis,” Hollingshead added. “I’ve only raced four times in the series over the past two years, so getting back behind the wheel and competing at events like Arlington and Road Atlanta means a lot. The level of competition is incredibly high, and I’m ready to put in the work to make Hollingshead Performance a strong presence in the paddock.”
Further announcements regarding additional drivers, partners, and testing dates will be made in the coming weeks as Hollingshead Performance prepares for its 2026 debut season.
