HMD Motorsports enters the second half of the 2026 INDY NXT by Firestone season as the series heads to Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin for Rounds Nine and Ten at the iconic Road America, June 19–21. With two drivers currently sitting inside the top-three in the championship standings and just five points separating the top contenders, the doubleheader weekend presents a crucial opportunity as the title fight continues to intensify.

Road America is the longest circuit on the 2026 INDY NXT calendar, spanning 4.014 miles and featuring 14 turns. As previous winners of the Road America event with now AJ Foyt Racing and NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver Caio Collet, HMD Motorsports is looking to continue their winning ways in The Dairy State. With two races on the schedule, the doubleheader format presents a valuable opportunity to make significant gains in both race results and the championship standings.

As the title fight intensifies, HMD Motorsports continues to showcase one of the strongest lineups in the INDY NXT paddock. Tymek Kucharczyk and Enzo Fittipaldi remain firmly in championship contention, while Jack Beeton and Salvador de Alba continue to demonstrate impressive pace and provide the team with a four-car effort capable of competing at the front throughout the weekend.

“Road America is always a race weekend, and an event that we look forward to,” explained Team President Mike Maurini. “It’s a great track, and we’ve been able to put together multiple wins there. With how close the championship is right now, it should be an exciting weekend. Our focus is on executing from the first session and positioning ourselves to fight at the front in both races.”

The Grand Prix of Road America doubleheader weekend gets underway on Friday with the sole practice session at 2:00 PM ET, airing live on FS2. Saturday’s schedule features Qualifying at 9:00 AM ET, followed by Race One at 11:30 AM ET, with both sessions broadcast live on FS1. The weekend concludes on Sunday with Race Two at 11:00 AM ET, also live on FS1.
